Description

Hydraulic Bump Stop with 4 in (100 mm) of travel, replacing the standard rubber bump stop to progressively absorb the final inches of suspension compression.

Mounted at the top of suspension travel, it controls shock absorber movement close to full compression, cushioning hard landings and large impacts and reducing shock loading on the chassis and axle. It can be used with any shock absorber.

Nitrogen charged with high-temperature 5W shock fluid. The body is machined from 2 in (52 mm) diameter aluminium with a 3 mm wall thickness and runs a 32 mm hard chrome piston rod; a nylon contact pad limits operating noise. Damping pressure is factory set at 150 psi and adjustable up to 400 psi.

Fitting requires a Terrafirma mounting kit; weld-on mounting tubes (TF139) are available for custom chassis installations.
