Description

Rear Cross Member with extensions – the rearmost transverse structural member of the ladder-frame chassis. It ties the two main chassis rails together at the rear and carries the rear body mounts, tow fittings and rear suspension loads.

The integral extensions are the rear leg sections that continue forward onto the chassis rails, allowing the corrosion-prone rear end of the chassis to be renewed as a single assembly rather than in separate pieces. The component is hot-dip galvanised for corrosion resistance.
