Description

Heater To Bulkhead Seal seals the joint between the heater and blower duct and the bulkhead aperture, within the heating and ventilation assembly.

It closes the gap where the heater intake duct meets the bulkhead, preventing unfiltered air, water and engine bay noise from entering the cabin and ensuring intake air is drawn through the intended path rather than around the duct. For right-hand drive heater assembly layout with diesel engines.

The seal is a service item: once compressed and hardened it loses its sealing face, and it should be renewed whenever the heater or blower housing is removed.
