Head Gasket Set – 2.25 Petrol – Composite is a top-end (de-coke) gasket set for resealing the cylinder head assembly of the 2.25-litre petrol engine.

It supplies the gaskets and seals needed to refit the cylinder head after it has been removed for decarbonising or head work, and is built around a composite-type cylinder head gasket. The head gasket seals the joint between the cylinder head and the block, maintaining combustion pressure and separating the coolant and oil passages that cross the joint face.

When fitting, use 18 of sealing ring ERC6821 under the heads of the cylinder head bolts if they are not already in place.
