Brake Wear Sensor – Rear for the rear brake caliper assembly.

This electrical sensor monitors the thickness of the rear brake pads. As the pad material wears to the sensor activation depth, the sensor element contacts the rotating disc surface, completing a circuit that illuminates the brake pad wear warning light on the instrument panel. The assembly includes the sensor element, wiring tail, and connector.
