Alternator Brush Set – the carbon brushes for the alternator, part of the charging circuit. The brushes bear on the rotor slip rings to carry field current into the rotor winding, generating the magnetic field the alternator needs to produce output.

The brushes wear down in service; renewing them restores reliable field excitation and charging output. Suits both battery-sensed and ignition-sensed alternators.
