Oil Filter (Large) for the engine lubrication system, the large-canister filter fitted to the 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

The filter removes metallic particles, carbon and other contaminants from the circulating engine oil, protecting the crankshaft bearings and oil galleries from accelerated wear. The “large” designation distinguishes it from the smaller-bodied filter used on other engine variants. Replaced as part of routine oil-change servicing.
