Description

Brake Master Cylinder of the metric AP type, the hydraulic heart of the braking system.

Mounted on the brake servo, the master cylinder converts the force applied at the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure. Its tandem bore feeds the front and rear brake circuits independently, so that braking pressure is retained to one circuit should the other lose pressure.

This is the metric (AP) specification, denoting the metric brake pipe fittings and cylinder design.
