Universal Joint for the propeller shaft, of the 82mm cap-to-cap type.

The universal (cardan) joint connects two sections of the propshaft, transmitting drive torque while accommodating the changing angle between the transfer-box output and the axle as the suspension articulates. The needle-roller bearing caps locate in the propshaft yokes and are retained by circlips.

Confirm the cap diameter and the 82mm cap-to-cap dimension against the joint being replaced before fitting.
