Spire Nut for body-panel fixings – a sprung spring-steel captive nut that clips over a panel edge or into a pierced hole to provide a threaded anchor for a screw. The arched body flexes as the screw is driven, holding it under tension so the fixing resists loosening from vibration.

Used to retain trim and body fittings such as grille and headlamp surrounds, rear body panels and tailgate lock components.
