Description

Main Bearing Set for the crankshaft main bearings in the engine bottom end. The bearing shells locate between the crankshaft main journals and the housings in the cylinder block and main bearing caps, carrying the crankshaft and setting its running clearance.

Supplied in the standard size, for a crankshaft whose main journals are at their nominal (unmachined) diameter. Suits the 2.25L 4-cylinder petrol engine built with the 5-bearing crankshaft.
