Description

Lock Washer secures the retaining hardware on the layshaft (countershaft) within the manual gearbox.

A tab on the washer is folded against the retaining nut to prevent it working loose under running vibration, keeping the layshaft assembly correctly held. Fit a new lock washer whenever the layshaft nut is disturbed.
