Trailing Link Bush – a rubber-to-metal bush that forms the compliant pivot mounting for the rear trailing link in the independent rear suspension.

The trailing link locates the rear hub carrier fore and aft; this bush provides the flexible pivot at the link’s mounting point, absorbing road shock and maintaining suspension geometry under load. A perished or worn bush allows excess movement, producing imprecise handling, knocking on rough surfaces and uneven tyre wear.
