Suspension Bush – the outer pivot bush for the rear Watts linkage transverse link.

The Watts linkage locates the rear axle laterally while permitting full vertical suspension travel. This bush is fitted at the outer end of the transverse link, isolating the pivot between the link and its mounting and maintaining accurate lateral location of the axle. A worn bush allows lateral play in the axle, producing rear-end wander and imprecise handling.
