Watts Roller Bearing is the centre roller bearing of the rear Watt’s linkage, the mechanism that locates the rear axle laterally.

It forms the central pivot of the linkage, mounted on the axle and carrying the pivoting link to which the two tie rods connect. As the axle moves through its travel the link rotates on this bearing, allowing vertical wheel movement while holding the axle centred against sideways load. Wear in the bearing introduces play in the linkage and degrades rear axle location; it is worth inspecting during rear suspension servicing.
