Description

Viscous Fan Assembly for the engine cooling circuit, driven from the water pump pulley and drawing air through the radiator core.

The viscous coupling (fan drive) modulates fan speed with under-bonnet temperature, engaging the blades when cooling demand rises and freewheeling when it falls to reduce parasitic drag and noise. Fitted to the 2.5L 6-cylinder BMW turbo diesel engine.

Supplied as a complete assembly including the viscous fan drive.
