Description

Drive Belt Idler Assembly for the front-end auxiliary drive system. The idler runs on the outer face of the auxiliary (serpentine) drive belt, guiding its path and supporting belt tension around the crankshaft, alternator and ancillary pulleys.

Used on the 2.4L and 2.2L TDCi turbo diesel engines. The pulley turns on a sealed bearing and bolts to the engine front cover; a worn or seized bearing typically shows as belt noise, vibration or misalignment.
