Description

Turbocharger Hose for the charge-air (boost) circuit of the Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine.

It connects into the pressurised pipework running from the turbocharger through the intercooler to the intake, carrying compressed air and sealing the joint at each clamped end. The hose is moulded to route around adjacent engine-bay components.

Integrity of this joint is essential to boost pressure; a split or perished hose causes a loss of charge pressure, black smoke and reduced performance.
