Air Conditioning Compressor Drive Belt – polyvee (multi-rib) belt for the Td4 M47 2.0L 16-valve four-cylinder turbo diesel.

This belt drives the air conditioning compressor alone, running on its own short circuit from the crankshaft pulley and separate from the main auxiliary belt that drives the alternator, power assisted steering pump and water pump. Because the two circuits are independent, the compressor belt can be removed to take a seized or noisy compressor out of the drive without disturbing charging, steering assistance or coolant circulation.

Required only where air conditioning is fitted. Renew rather than refit once removed, and inspect for rib cracking, glazing and edge fraying.
