Description

Oil Thermostat Assembly for the L Series 2.0L diesel engine oil cooling circuit.

The oil thermostat regulates engine oil temperature by controlling flow through the oil cooler. While the oil is cold it bypasses the cooler so the engine reaches operating temperature quickly; as oil temperature rises it opens to route oil through the cooler and hold it within the normal operating range.
