Description

Starter Motor for the 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engine, part of the engine electrical starting circuit.

When the ignition is operated the solenoid throws the drive pinion into mesh with the flywheel ring gear and the motor cranks the engine, converting battery current into the rotation needed to start combustion. The pinion disengages once the engine fires.

Supplied as a complete starter motor assembly.
