Rear Brake Disc – vented, 325 mm diameter. Part of the rear brake discs and calipers assembly.

The disc mounts to the rear hub flange and provides the friction surface clamped by the rear caliper pads, converting wheel rotation into heat. Internal vanes between the two friction faces draw cooling air radially outwards through the casting, shedding that heat to limit brake fade and pad glazing under sustained braking, heavy loads or towing.

Replace the disc once the friction faces reach the wear limit, or earlier if scored, heat-cracked or outside run-out tolerance. Discs are replaced as an axle pair and bedded in with fresh pads.
