Description

Mass Air Flow Sensor – TDCi is the intake air mass sensor for the TDCi diesel engine, forming part of the air intake assembly.

Fitted in the intake ducting downstream of the air filter, it measures the mass of air entering the engine and reports it to the engine ECU. The signal is used to control diesel fuelling and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR); accurate airflow measurement is essential for correct fuel metering, smoke control and emissions performance.
