Description

Flywheel Timing Pin – an engine timing tool for 4-cylinder diesel engines that locks the flywheel at top dead centre (TDC) so the crankshaft is held in a fixed position while injection pump and engine timing are set.

The pin engages a locating hole in the flywheel through the bellhousing, holding the crankshaft stationary at TDC during injection pump removal, refitting and timing on the 200 Tdi and 300 Tdi diesels. It is typically used together with the injection pump timing pin.
