Brake Light Switch mounted at the brake pedal within the stop-lamp circuit.

The switch detects brake pedal application and triggers the rear brake (stop) lights. Its signal is also used by other vehicle systems such as cruise control and the transmission and stability controllers that need to know when the brakes are applied. Supplied as a complete switch that fits to the pedal box bracket.
