Description

Spin-on engine oil filter installed in the oil filter housing of the engine lubrication system, on the 2.2L TDCi diesel engine.

The filter element removes suspended contaminants from the circulating engine oil before it is returned to the engine’s internal lubrication galleries. It forms part of the oil cooler and filter assembly mounted on the engine block.

The filter threads directly onto the filter head and seals against the housing with an integral gasket, allowing removal and replacement at routine engine service intervals.
