Haldex Fluid is the specific oil for the Haldex all-wheel-drive coupling, supplied in a 300 ml bottle.

The Haldex coupling sits ahead of the rear differential and engages drive to the rear axle on demand. This fluid lubricates and operates its multi-plate clutch pack; its friction characteristics are matched to the coupling. Periodic replacement, usually alongside the Haldex filter, maintains correct engagement and prevents drivetrain shudder.
