Description

Brake Pad Wear Warning Wire for the front brake pad wear-indication circuit.

The sensor wire is routed into the friction material of the front brake pad. As the pad approaches its wear limit, the brake disc contacts the wire and interrupts the circuit, illuminating the pad-wear warning on the instrument panel so the pads can be renewed before the backing plate is reached.
