Description

Electric Fan Coupling is the electronically-controlled viscous clutch that drives the engine cooling fan.

Mounted between the drive pulley and the fan, it regulates fan speed in response to an electronic control signal – engaging the fan to draw air through the radiator when cooling demand is high and disengaging it when less airflow is needed, reducing parasitic drag and noise. It forms part of the engine cooling system.

Supplied as a complete coupling unit.
