Description

EGR Valve for the 2.4L and 2.2L Puma TDCi diesel engines, fitted within the exhaust gas recirculation circuit.

The EGR valve meters a controlled portion of exhaust gas back into the intake to lower peak combustion temperatures and reduce the formation of oxides of nitrogen (NOx). It opens and closes under engine-management control according to engine load and temperature.
