Description

Oil Filter – cartridge type filter element for the 4.4L M62 V8 petrol engine, fitted in the oil cooler and filter housing.

It filters the full flow of oil leaving the pump before it reaches the bearings, valve gear and timing chain drive, holding back wear debris and combustion by-products. The element is replaced at every oil service.

Cartridge design: the element alone is renewed and the housing is retained, so the housing cover must be refitted and tightened to the specified torque.
