Description

Gear Lever Spring for the manual gearbox gear change mechanism, providing the 5th gear selector bias. It works within the gear lever remote housing, loading the lever toward the 5th selector plane.

This spring sets part of the cross-gate return feel, biasing the lever toward the 5th gate side so it settles onto the correct plane as it is moved across the gate. A weak or broken spring shifts the bias and can make selecting 5th feel vague.
