Description

Timing Belt Kit for the 2.5L naturally aspirated diesel and 2.5L turbo diesel engines. It serves the timing belt drive that keeps the crankshaft, camshaft and injection pump in synchronisation.

The kit contains the timing belt, the belt tensioner and the accompanying gaskets – the components renewed together at a timing belt service. Fitting a fresh tensioner alongside the belt avoids a repeat teardown should the tensioner bearing wear, and guards against the engine damage a snapped or slipped belt can cause.
