Description

Gear Lever Bias Plate for the manual gearbox gear change mechanism. It sits in the gear lever remote housing and works with the bias spring to load the lever toward the central 3rd/4th selector plane.

This is the self-centring action felt when the lever is released into neutral, guiding it back to the mid gate rather than the outer gears. A worn or cracked plate lets the lever wander off centre and can make gear selection vague.
