Description

Differential Pinion Oil Seal for the final drive, with a 4-bolt flange (LR-type, non-Salisbury axle). The single-lip seal sits at the front of the pinion shaft, directly behind the drive flange, where the shaft passes through the differential casing.

It forms the primary oil barrier between the crown wheel and pinion gear set and the external flange connection, retaining axle lubricant and keeping contamination out at the rotating pinion interface. Fitted to both front and rear differentials and renewed whenever a pinion oil leak develops or the drive flange is disturbed.
