Description

Reverse Shaft for the reverse gear train in the Series-type manual gearbox (LT76), suffix B onwards.

The shaft carries the reverse idler gear, which transfers drive from the layshaft to the mainshaft to reverse the direction of rotation when reverse is selected. It is supported in the gearbox casing and locates the idler between the layshaft and mainshaft.
