Speedometer Drive Gear sits on the output shaft of the LT230 transfer box and forms part of the speedometer drive, transmitting shaft rotation to the speedometer so road speed is registered.

It has 23 teeth and is colour-coded red to identify the tooth count. The number of teeth is matched to the axle ratio and tyre size so the speedometer reads accurately.
