Fir Tree Clip – a push-fit fastener that secures the door casing (interior door trim panel) to the door.

The ribbed, tapered fir-tree stem pushes into an aperture in the door and grips on its flexible barbs, holding the trim panel in place while allowing it to be released for service. These fasteners are commonly renewed when a door trim panel is removed, as the barbs can distort on extraction.
