Rocker Shaft Stud – 300TDi is a cylinder head stud used in the rocker shaft assembly of the 300TDi 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine.

The stud threads into the cylinder head and secures the rocker shaft pedestal brackets that support the rocker shaft. The rocker shaft in turn carries the rocker arms, which transfer cam lobe movement to open the inlet and exhaust valves. Correct installation torque on these studs is critical to maintaining rocker geometry and preventing oil leaks at the rocker cover.
