Cooling Fan for the V8 EFI petrol engine, part of the engine cooling system.

The fan is mounted at the front of the engine and driven from the water pump, typically through a viscous coupling. It draws air through the radiator to dissipate heat from the coolant, providing the airflow needed at low road speeds and when stationary. A cracked or distorted fan, or one with damaged blades, should be renewed to maintain cooling performance and avoid imbalance.
