Description

Thermostat for the 2.5L 300TDi diesel engine, operating within the thermostat housing at the top of the cooling circuit.

The thermostat regulates coolant flow between the engine and the radiator based on coolant temperature. Below the opening threshold, coolant is directed through the bypass circuit to accelerate warm-up and maintain consistent operating temperature; once the thermostat opens, it allows full coolant circulation through the radiator.
