Description

Parking Brake Switch mounts on the handbrake lever assembly and operates the handbrake warning lamp in the instrument cluster.

When the parking brake is applied the switch contact closes and illuminates the brake warning lamp; releasing the lever opens the contact and extinguishes the lamp. It is a plunger-type switch actuated directly by movement of the lever.
