Description

Inlet Valve – the poppet valve that seals the inlet port in the cylinder head and opens on the induction stroke to admit the incoming air charge to the combustion chamber.

The single-groove stem tip locates the split collets that retain the valve spring cap. Correct seat sealing is essential to compression and to a clean idle. It works alongside the matching exhaust valve to complete the valve set for the cylinder head.

For the 2.0L and 2.25L four-cylinder diesel engines.
