Description

Hot Plug is the pre-combustion chamber insert, or hot spot, seated in the cylinder head of the 2.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated and 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engines.

Used in the indirect-injection combustion system, it forms the swirl chamber into which the injector sprays fuel, promoting atomisation and controlled combustion before the charge passes into the main cylinder bore.
