Description

Inlet Valve for the cylinder head of the 2.25L 4-cylinder petrol engine, with a 44.5mm head diameter.

It seats in the inlet port of the combustion chamber and opens on the induction stroke to admit the air/fuel charge, then closes to seal the chamber through compression and combustion. The valve runs in a guide in the cylinder head and is operated by the pushrod-and-rocker valve gear.
