Description

Transfer Box Sump Cover is a finned billet aluminium cover plate that replaces the pressed-steel sump cover on the underside of the transfer case.

Machined from solid aluminium, it is considerably stiffer than the original pressing and expands and contracts at the same rate as the aluminium transfer case, which addresses the oil weeping common to the original steel cover. The cast fins increase surface area to help dissipate heat from the transfer case oil.

Supplied with a new mounting gasket and replacement fixing bolts. Earlier vehicles can reuse the original drain plug and washer; castings with metric threads require drain plug 235592.
