Description

Connecting Rod Bolt for the Rover V8 EFI petrol engine, part of the connecting rod assembly in the engine bottom end.

The bolt clamps the connecting rod cap to the big-end of the rod, retaining the assembly around its crankshaft journal. Correct tightening to specification is critical, as the fastener carries the reciprocating load of the piston and rod.
