Description

Automatic Transmission Filter for the ZF automatic gearbox fluid circuit. It sits in the transmission fluid pan and filters the ATF drawn up into the pump, trapping wear debris and contaminants before the fluid is recirculated through the valve body and clutch packs.

The filter is renewed as part of an automatic transmission oil service and is the replacement filter element supplied in the DA2142 service kit.
