Screw a No. 6 1/2 in self-tapping screw used to secure interior trim and panel fixings, such as the instrument binnacle, fascia mouldings and associated dash and heater-duct sections.

Being self-tapping, it forms its own thread in the mounting substrate as it is driven, removing the need for a pre-cut thread or a separate nut. Inspect the head drive and the threads for wear or damage whenever removing or refitting.
