Description

Caged Nut – a captive plastic nut that receives a self-tapping or trim screw.

It clips into a panel aperture to provide a fixed threaded seat, used to secure door casings and tail door casing trim, air intake ducting and side repeater lamps. The cage holds the nut captive so the screw can be started without access behind the panel.
